Invitation to the TVIP 2025 conference: E-waste - Innovation, Safety and New Ways of Recycling

We would like to invite you to the Week of Research and Innovation for Practice and the Environment (TVIP)conference, which will take place on 14-16 October 2025 in Hustopeče near Brno.

The Week of Research and Innovation for Practice and the Environment (TVIP) is a traditional platform for bringing together experts from research, industry, government and the non-profit sector. This year’s edition will include, among other things, current topics related to waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Wednesday's expert programme will focus on:

• new approaches to recycling and the reuse of strategic materials,
• safe pre-treatment of e-waste, including lithium-ion batteries,
• the linkage between innovation, legislative requirements, research results and practical applications.

One of the keynote speakers will be Daniel Šafář (ASEKOL), who will present his experience from over twenty years of running the compliance scheme for the take-back of electrical equipment.

The programme will also include other thematic blocks dedicated to issues such as construction waste and waste textiles.
