On 14 October, we mark International E-Waste Day. This year’s event, coordinated by the WEEE Forum, focuses on small electrical items – from wireless earbuds, smartwatches and chargers to electronic toys and stylish accessories. These small electronic products may make everyday life easier and more enjoyable, but they also deserve proper care and attention when they reach the end of their useful lives.

ASEKOL offers users of small electronics a simple way to give these end-of-life electrical items a new life. Small electrical items can be handed in at our red containers, conveniently located throughout the Czech Republic.

Why is sorting your e-waste correctly the best choice?

  • Returning materials to circulation: Every small electrical item you put in a red container contains valuable materials. Through recycling, e-waste can be treated efficiently and the recovered materials used to manufacture new products.
  • Maximum convenience: More than 4,000 red containers are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A map of all red container locations is available at www.cervenekontejnery.cz
  • Protecting nature: By sorting electrical items correctly and placing them in a red container, you help conserve natural resources and reduce the energy needed to extract new raw materials. Environmentally sound recycling also prevents harmful substances from entering the environment.

Whether you're treating yourself to the latest tech gadgets or replacing older accessories, remember that the right solution for your end-of-life electrical items is always close at hand.
