ASEKOL and Remobil Join Forces to Protect Gorillas Through Mobile Recycling

‍ASEKOL has partnered with the Remobil project, which, in cooperation with Prague Zoo and the City of Prague, encourages the public to recycle old mobile phones in an environmentally responsible way. The event will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, and is aimed at children up to 15 years old.

The non-profit project Remobil ensures the safe and eco-friendly disposal of collected devices. For each donated mobile phone, Prague Zoo will receive CZK 10 from Remobil and CZK 10 from ASEKOL, which will go to the fundraising account Helping Them Survive, supporting the protection of lowland gorillas.

“Together with Remobil, we support responsible electronics recycling while also contributing to the protection of endangered species,” said Daniel Šafář, Commercial Director of ASEKOL.
