Every electrical appliance tells the story of materials that have come a long way – from the extraction of raw materials to the manufacture of the finished product. That journey does not have to end when the appliance is taken out of use.
At first glance, an end-of-life electrical appliance may seem like something you no longer need. In reality, however, it contains a range of materials that retain their value even after the appliance is no longer in use. Professional processing recovers iron, aluminium, copper and precious metals from electrical equipment, along with plastics, glass and many other materials.
Material recovery rates are high and vary depending on the type of product, but can reach up to 95%. E-waste recycling helps reduce the need to extract new raw materials and prevents valuable resources from going to waste. Environmentally sound recycling enables materials from end-of-life equipment to be returned to circulation and reused to manufacture new products. Rather than allowing valuable materials to go to waste, we create opportunities to manage resources more efficiently.
Thank you for sorting your waste.
