How to register
Completing the contact form
If you are interested in registering batteries, please complete the following form.
Preparing, sending and signing contractual documents
Based on a completed registration form, we will prepare for you all necessary documents for registering batteries. These documents include the following:
- Power of attorney
- Annex 4 – Annex for separate batteries – only if the producer/importer also introduces separately to the market portable and rechargeable batteries
- Annex 5 – List of brand names of all batteries
The registration documents for batteries include the Contract, Annex 1, Annex 2, and the General Business Terms and Conditions. The latter are only informative, however, and the importer/producer does not sign them or send them back.
REGISTRATION AT ECOBAT
We will prepare a contract for ensuring compliance with obligations for all batteries with the ECOBAT compliance scheme. An ASEKOL representative will sign this contract on behalf of the client on the bases of the submitted power of attorney.
REGISTER OF THE MOE
ECOBAT ensures registration at the Ministry of the Environment
After signing the contract and delivering all documents to ECOBAT (especially the power of attorney and Annex 5 – List of brand names of all batteries), ECOBAT will ensure the producer/importer’s registration at the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION
Certificate of registration issued by ECOBAT
After the contract is signed and the producer/importer is registered in ECOBAT’s internal database, the Certificate is issued, thereby ensuring (after signing by an ASEKOL representative based on the delivered power of attorney and list of brand names) registration of the producer/importer at the Ministry of the Environment.
The producer may present this certificate during any inspection by state administration offices. It may also be used as confirmation of compliance with legal obligations.
In co-operation with the ASEKOL compliance scheme, it is possible to comply with all legal obligations for inserted or attached portable and rechargeable batteries and for all categories of electrical and electronic equipment (1–10).
