Manner of labeling electrical and electronic equipment (EEE)
The Act stipulates two types of obligatory labeling of products:
1. Label of the producer of EEE
2. Label of EEE
Both these labels must be placed on the product and in the accompanying documents, in one of the following manners.
Label of the producer of EEE (only one option may be chosen)
a) specification of the name and surname or business name
b) specification of the brand under which the producer imports EEE or puts EEE on the market
c) specification of the registration number of the producer in the List of Producers of EEE kept by the MoE
Label of EEE (several options may be chosen)
a) specification of the date of putting on the market
b) use of the symbol “8/05”
c) use of the graphic symbol of an “underlined crossed-out wheelie bin”

Graphical symbol goes out from EN 50419 European standard.
