Cooperation with municipalities providing mobile pick-up
The offer of cooperation is intended for municipalities that provide for regular mobile pick-up of hazardous waste, including collection of discarded EEE.
The cooperation takes place on the basis of an agreement. The agreement also includes a power of attorney, on the basis of which the municipality may delegate some of its duties following from the agreement, or a majority of them, to the contractual transport company that provides for mobile pick-up of hazardous waste for the municipality. Within the power of attorney, it may also be chosen that the transport company will invoice for the contribution provided by the ASEKOL collective scheme instead of the municipality.
After conclusion of the agreement, the system of mobile pick-up of hazardous waste remains the same previously, i.e. EEE taken back within mobile pick-up is transported by the contractual transport company to the treatment operator; however, the costs of treatment of this EEE is borne by the ASEKOL collective scheme in the full amount. Simultaneously, ASEKOL pays a financial remuneration to the municipality for implementation of the take-back service. Thus, the municipality’s costs related to pick-up of hazardous components of waste should decrease as part of these costs is now covered by ASEKOL.
The municipality obtains the following advantages based on the agreement
1. Reduction in the costs incurred by the municipality in relation to mobile pick-up of hazardous waste
2. Charge-free treatment of EEE collected within mobile pick-up
3. Obtaining of financial remuneration*

Amount of remuneration [year]
Towns and municipalities up to 2000 inhabitants
CZK 1,700.00

* the financial remuneration is paid to the municipality half-yearly and the municipality is entitled to it if it records, in the given half year, collection of discarded EEE within mobile pick-up at a level stipulated by the agreement
4. Possibility of drawing financial means from the ASEKOL Fund
5. Use of materials within information support
6. Possibility of involvement in both current and new projects pursued by ASEKOL (e.g. the E-box project, the Stationary containers project)
