Modified Annex No. 3 to the "Joint Performance Agreement on Taking Back Electrical and Electronic Equipment (pdf, 149 kB)" has been in effect since January 1, 2009. This modification will be introduced in connection with an increase in the remuneration by a new bonus, namely the "Bonus for Assistance in Loading". This modification offers municipalities a potential for increasing the basic remuneration for collection of EEE with respect to a specific pick-up where assistance during loading of EEE is provided by the personnel of the waste collection yard. Thus, through the above-mentioned modification of the Agreement, Asekol responds to the current state of affairs relating to loading of waste at waste collection yards, which often occurs with active cooperation of the personnel of the collection yards; however, to date this cooperation has been provided voluntarily and without any financial consideration.
