General information
The ASEKOL collective scheme provides for transport (pick-up) of collected discarded EEE through a network of contractual transport companies covering the entire territory of the Czech Republic.
The transport companies are divided into groups, based on the type of serviced collection sites:
- Transport companies – waste collection yards
- Transport companies – mobile pick-up
- Transport companies – final dealers, service and repair shops
Transport companies – waste collection yards
In order to select the best logistic scheme for the pick-up, the territory of the Czech Republic is divided into 40 pick-up areas (regions). Based on the results of a tender procedure, each area is assigned to a regional transport company. The regional transport companies provide for loading of the collected EEE at a waste collection yard, and transport and unloading at a contractual treatment operator designated by the ASEKOL collective scheme
Transport companies – mobile pick-up
Mobile pick-up of EEE may be implemented by any transport company that provides for mobile pick-up of hazardous waste for a municipality, usually including collection of discarded EEE. This requires a contract with the ASEKOL collective scheme. Details concerning the contractual relationship with the ASEKOL collective scheme can be discussed with our responsible employees (Andrea Kubišová).
Transport companies – final dealers, service and repair shops
Pick-up of collected discarded EEE from final dealers occurs, subject to fulfillment of the set conditions, through regional contractual transport companies or, again subject to fulfillment of the set conditions, it is possible to deposit it free of charge at the nearest waste collection yard participating in the ASEKOL collective scheme.
