The ASEKOL Fund will support a record-breaking 46 public benefit projects this year
On 6 May 2011, in the framework of the Grant Procedure for 2011, the Council of the ASEKOL Fund decided to allocate subsidies for projects concerned with improving the effectiveness of collection of WEEE. The nine Council members evaluated 70 grant applications and decided to support a record-breaking 46 of them. The selected entities will thus receive assistance of over 2 million CZK from the ASEKOL Fund. Most of the supported projects are part of the long-time favourite Reconstruction program, which is concerned with improving the quality of collection sites. A total of 47 applications were submitted in this program. However, interest was also shown in the Awareness (14 applications) and Intensity (9 applications) programs. Thus, over its four years of functioning, the ASEKOL Fund has already supported 149 projects with a total value exceeding CZK 11 million.
