Announced programs:
- Intensity Program (creation of or increase in the number of collection sites in the specific area and, if appropriate, also improvement of their accessibility)
- Reconstruction Program (it is aimed at the quality of collection sites from the viewpoint of increasing their capacity, their reconstruction or improvement of their equipment)
- Awareness Program (it is aimed at education and awareness raising in the area of taking back and recycling of EEE)
Applications lodged for the 2008 grant procedure
38 entities registered their projects in the grant procedure of the ASEKOL Fund in the spring round of 2008.
Supported projects
27 projects were supported. Sixteen applicants were granted a contribution within the Reconstruction Program, and others within the Awareness and Intensity Programs. A vast majority of projects were concerned with waste collection yards. Specifically, they aimed at their improvement or better safeguarding using a fence or a camera surveillance system, but also included requirements for collection containers or roofing. Most of the applications were lodged by cities and municipalities.
Thirteen projects were supported financially in the total value of CZK 1,654,314.00, a total of 18 e-houses were divided between fifteen projects as non-financial performance.
